To develop Portuguese language in our country, East Timor, the first we must know that, in our country adopted the Portugal system, in many aspects; like in the education, in the groups, in the parliament and the others. So, we must promote to speak Portuguese language. Most people prefer to talk in Indonesian language! Because they always watching the Indonesian channel, so it’s influence them. With this, we must to improve our official language through watching Portuguese channel and also we have to practice in our daily life. We don’t fall ashamed when we are speak wrong, as an expression said that “you’ll never know till you have tried”. With this we have to try to speak if it’s wrong, because from here we can learn a new something. And the last, I want to suggest to the teacher have to use Portuguese language to teach students at school, but just not only to teach but also try to practice inside the classroom, and also practice in everywhere because the important key for us, firstly we have to know more about grammar and make a short conversation with other people in our daily life.
